Learning from mistakes...
Where are all the good that this person has done? Does mistakes cover the goods in a person??
Anyway, I feel sad if a person was judged because a mistake that he's done and the goods that he's done has forgotten. What a pity...

Being an adult??
In real life, my parents try to stop treated me like a child when i got married. However, Parents are parents, they won't leave you alone.. :) But, am so lucky to be their children. And someday, i would be like them..
Anyway, what i want to higlight on this is that, how do you treat an adult? Leave them to make their own decisions eventhough you know it's wrong?? Or you make decision for them? Or you just leave them alone??? But what if this adult is someone you love.. Will you let them be??
If the meaning of an 'adult' is 'self-reponsibility'.. I would just have to remind them and let them to make their own decisions...
Just remember:
Being an adult does not based on their age, and
Older doesn't mean that you are wiser...

Where was I in the year 2000??
Or if i counted a few years back... what would happen if i didn't go to Singapore and Sydney? What would happen if i stayed in Surabaya or most probably went to Jakarta to study instead?
What would my life would be? Is it going to be the same? Worst? or Better?
I wonder...

Tangkuban Perahu

Last week was Idul Fitri day, as Indonesia is a muslim country, most of them are celebrate the event. Whereas us, we were just enjoying our long holiday. My father in law visited us during the week. As most of Jakarta people are coming from other cities, Jakarta became sooooo nicee.... Not many people, no traffic, this is the right time to visit Jakarta. Bandung is the first destination, it only took about 2 hours drive.
Bandung has a great weather, cold and the food... mm.. nyam.. nyam... i think i gain weight there. Bandung is famous with factory outlets, selling branded clothes but very cheap. I went there to shop if i need new clothes..
Next day, we went to tourist place called 'Tangkuban Prahu', it's a place where that mountain is still active. It took about 1.5 hrs to walked down and we even can sit there and cook egg..

The day in Cilincing

It was on the 13th of October 2006, the event started at 4pm, but we left the office about 1.30pm. Total of the kids are 300, therefore i and the team really worked hard to get more participants from the company. Our prayer was answered, we collected 70 participants for this event.
We sang and created games with them, distributing Muslim clothes and food to eat. Looking at those kids smile are the most happiest thing in our life.
Life in Cilincing
Most of them are working as 'pemulung' and some of them have no permanent job. They have difficulties to find food for their family, though, going to school is the least priority for them.
School Fascilities:
The school is allocated under the bridge, near the location where they burn the trash.

So, we decided to go there to share our love on the 13 of October 2006.

Looking at myself??
My friend offered me this job. It took quite a while for me to think it over. As i am a full time employee in where i work right now. With praying and the support of my hubby, i took this job. Not forgetting to asked my director's permission to work as a part-time lecturer. and... It went well.. phew...
Those kids are between 18-19 years old and still in the mood of playing. I remember when i was studying highschool or even university. The thought of getting serious studying is not in my 1st priority. Thank God I finished school, successfully took my master degree and having a wonderful job & beautiful life. Now, God gives me a chance to share my knowledge with a group of kids. Life is about choices, hoping that they will choose the right path...

Gardening on Sunday afternoon

Sunday Afternoon.. After lunch, we went straight to buy plants for our home. For me, gardening is out of my league. I am just enjoying looking but not doing it or even choosing it. However, For my hubby, gardening is one of his sports. He would walk down the street, stop at every kiosk selling plants, and even spent his time with the seller asking about gardening.
I was just standing behind him, looking bored and tried to ask small questions to make myself interest, but I failed.. :)
After spending that longggggg time on the street, we were heading back. My hubby got so excited and when we reached home, he started to get busy with the plants that we bought. And me, I spent that afternoon alone watching sitcom "Will & Grace". Watching for an hour, i peeped from my room, looking at my hubby... there he is...
SOOO PROUD OF HIM!!!Tuesday, June 27, 2006
Look Back..
My nephew and niece wished me in the morning through phone.. When i talked to the little one, Nia (3 years old). The conversation went like this:
Nia : Happy Birthday, Ik Nga! (Ik means aunty, Nga means middle)
I : Terima Kasih, Nia
Nia : Ik Nga umur berapa? (How old are you?)
I : Ik Nga umur tiga puluh (I am 30 years old)
Nia : 30?? Kok banyak ya?? (Why is it so much?)
Ooo.. my... somebody reminded me that I am old.. hahahaha..
But i don't feel i am thirty.. I just feel that i am 27 at least..
Time flies, even my friendship with Jen2 (my very good friend) is already 10 years. Can't you believe this???

THIS IS MY HOUSE

The number is 37. It has 2 bed rooms, a small kitchen, 3 bathrooms and 2 small rooms for storage and the helper (if i have one). We already moved in for about a month now. Just the 2 of us. The things that i have is my bed, and dining table. Of course there are fridge, water dispenser, and cooking utensils.
We can do anything we want. We can sleep until late, don't clean the house if we are lazy.. We really enjoy being just the 2 of us.
Choosing the furniture is one thing, paying is the other thing.. :) Different taste and opinions simply created small fights, but thank God it ends well. And.. I WON!!
No.. Sometimes i lost too...

LSPR Reunion

Applaude to our moderator, Irene. We all owe it to her.. She has all the patience to gather all the different schedules to get an ideal date to have lunch together. Finally, the date has revealed, 3rd of June 2006, Saturday, in Caza Suki Restaurant in Mahakam, 9 of us were there but minus mbak Dina, Melissa (she is in Australia now) & Pak Edhy. We are the 1st batch of Master Degree in LSPR. We went through ups and downs with irritating teachers, thesis, and tests.. Graduated last year and we met again. Some of them were late (as usual) but most importantly we have fun. Promise to do it again.. Maybe next time with our future kids...
